A Valentine’s Sweetheart Dance for All Couples – February 12th
The great mystery of love is often realized through the questions we ask ourselves. For example, if our focus is, “How can I be loved?”, we may become consumers of love and focus on our external attributes such as beauty and money to attain more love. If, however, we ask, “How can I become more loving?”, we will turn our focus to our own behaviors to love and serve others. In a marriage, we are called to make that decision to become more loving each and every day.
The Couples Connection wants to make your decision to love easy this Valentine’s Day! On Friday, February 12th, we are hosting a one of a kind, fun filled dance party from 7:00-10:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall, complete with a dessert and wine bar, chocolate fountain, a raffle, romantic atmosphere and hours of great dance tunes!
We know that some of you are saying, “My wife likes to dance, but I don’t dance.” Or, “My husband is an extrovert, but I hate crowds.” This is your chance to make that decision to love! Share a special moment together on the dance floor, look lovingly into each other’s eyes, remember your first dance together, rekindle the spark, meet new friends, let the Holy Spirit enter into your union and choose to make it a night that both of you will remember!
