Saturday at Sacred Heart on October 18
A group of volunteers from Holy Spirit will be gathering at Sacred Heart Community Service on October 18 for the last Saturday at Sacred Heart of 2014. In November and December, Holy Spirit will volunteer for the various holiday programs. More information about the holiday programs will be published later this month.
The Saturday at Sacred Heart group is a combination of families with school-aged children, teens, and adults. Families like working together giving the example of living our faith, teens earn service hours while chatting with other teens, and adults enjoy meeting new people from the parish and other outreach organizations. Our volunteer shift begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at noon. Your time will be well used; no one stands around at Sacred Heart! The time really flies by!
We are usually packing produce, assembling food bags, or sorting clothes for the Clothes Closet. Sacred Heart depends on the work of the Saturday volunteers in order to run the daily operation more smoothly. Without our help, the weekly routine just wouldn’t work well.
Children under 13-years-old must be accompanied by at least one parent. If you have any questions or need assistance signing up, contact Sue Seibert at firstname.lastname@example.org.
