Saturday at Sacred Heart
On Saturday, March 22, we will meet at Sacred Heart Community Services for a fun-filled morning of various service activities. The shift begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 12:00 noon. During this time families, teens, and adults will be working together packing food bags, sorting produce, organizing clothing donations, and doing any other tasks necessary to prepare Sacred Heart for the week ahead. Your time will definitely be well used. This month we will be working with a group of Presentation Alumni.
In addition to the good work we will do, this day is a great way to meet new people, for parents to model Christian behavior for our children, for children to understand that as followers of Christ we have responsibility for our brothers and sisters (school age children under 13 must be accompanied by at least one parent), for teens to earn service hours and spend time with their friends face to face instead of on Facebook—this day is not limited to Holy Spirit parishioners, so invite your friends to sign up with you!
