What Makes Us Catholic

What Makes Us Catholic is a video course featuring Boston College Professor Dr. Thomas Groome. For nine weeks, each session presents a theme from our Catholic identity, poses questions for discussion and encourages reflection among participants. What Makes Us Catholic will build on your knowledge and understanding of our faith while enjoying the fellowship of other parishioners. These are a few of the themes addressed in the course:

• Our sacramental view of life—the presence and grace of God through the ordinary and everyday is central to Catholic faith. To see God in all things.
   
• Our relational understanding of our lives in the world—we are communal and called to serve the common good.
   
• Our emphasis on Scripture and Tradition as sources of God’s revelation.
