Pilgrimage To Italy 2015 – Walking in the Footsteps of the Saints
We invite you to join Fr. Brendan and other parishioners as we visit and embrace the incredible country of Italy. What a wonderful opportunity to journey together in faith. A pilgrimage is defined as a journey to a sacred place to deepen our faith through prayer and experience. Pilgrimages lead us closer to God by leading us along paths of new discovery.
We will enjoy some of the most beloved sites in Rome, Assisi, Florence, and Milan. Also included is a rare opportunity to view the Shroud of Turin at St. John the Baptist Cathedral inTorino.
Come and experience something truly special: a pilgrimage to places of historic significance and spiritual richness. Our pilgrimage will offer the General Papal Audience at Pope Paul VI Audience Hall (subject to the Holy Father’s schedule) and the see Leonardo DaVinci’s masterful mural “The Last Supper” in Milan. We will pray and celebrate the Eucharist as we explore the wonders of amazing Basilicas such as St. Francis and St. Peter. We will walk in the footsteps of St. Augustine, St. Francis of Assisi, St Clare, St. Peter and Paul.
Whether you’ve been to Italy three dozen times, or this is your first trip abroad, this pilgrimage is sure to make memories of a lifetime. We promise you that it will also expand your knowledge of the Church and deepen your faith.
We hope that you will be able to join us as we journey in the Footsteps of the Saints to enrich our Catholic foundation.
The trip is April 20-30, 2015 and will cost approximately $5000 including airfare. If you are interested in more information about this pilgrimage, please fill out the interest form below. For questions, contact Katie Metzger at 408-997-5115 or firstname.lastname@example.org
