Time is one of the most precious gifts we have. How we spend our time is one of the most important indications of what is important in our lives. Your time is your gift to share. How will you share your time for the common good?

Pastoral Care to the Sick and Hospitalized
“If one member suffers in the body of Christ which is the Church, all the members suffer with that member.” (1 Corinthians 12:26)
For this reason, those who are baptized into Christ and nourished at the same table of the Lord are responsible for one another. When Christians are sick, their brothers and sisters share a ministry of mutual charity and “do all that they can to help the sick return to health, by showing love for the sick, and by celebrating the sacraments with them.” (See Pastoral Care of the Sick: Rites of Anointing and Viaticum).
The Pastoral Care Ministry office will be offering basic ministry training this Fall for anyone interested in becoming a Pastoral Care Minister to the sick for Holy Spirit Parish. Please contact Leah Harris, Director of Pastoral Care, at 997.5110 for more information.
