The Liturgy Committee is one of 8 committees that make up the Holy Spirit Stewardship Council. These 8 committees are responsible for carrying out specific Parish missions. These committees are vision setting, planning, coordinating, integrating and evaluating bodies. The Liturgy Committee is made up of 2 subcommittees - the Liturgy Preparation Committee (LPC) and the Liturgy Ministry Committee (LMC). Contact: Fr. Brendan McGuire The Liturgy Preparation Committee (LPC) sets the vision and does the planning. It is chaired by the Liturgy Committee Chair. The LPC is responsible for the 3-5 year Spiritual and Liturgical plan for Holy Spirit Parish. The LPC consists of the Pastor and the Associate Pastor and 4-5 people, including the Liturgy Committee Chair, who are discerned to the council. Contact: Fr. Brendan McGuire The Liturgy Ministry Committee (LMC) coordinates and integrates. The LMC is responsible for the implementation of all liturgical celebrations at Holy Spirit Parish. It is chaired by the Liturgy Coordinator and the membership consists of the chairs of all the liturgical ministries. Contact: Fr. Brendan McGuire and Terri Lopopolo The Liturgical Prayer Coordination Teams coordinates the weekly prayers that are need for our weekend Liturgies. These include the Prayers of the Faithful, the Penitential Invocations and other special rites that might occur. The teams are made up of 3-4 people who meet on a monthly basis to pray together and accomplish their work. Contact: Fr. Brendan McGuire |
