Diocesan Mass of Healing and Anointing of the Sick with Bishop Daly

In 1992, Pope John Paul II introduced the celebration of the World Day of the Sick on the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. This annual celebration gives people a chance to pray for and deepen their solidarity with the sick and injured among us.

Each year, on a weekend close to the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes (which is February 11th), the Knights of Malta host World Day of the Sick at Santa Teresa Parish. It is an opportunity for parishes throughout the Diocese and caregivers to celebrate the sacrament of the Sick.

This year, Auxiliary Bishop Thomas Daly will celebrate the Annual Diocesan Mass of Healing and Anointing of the Sick in the Church of Santa Teresa on Saturday, February 11th, at 11 a.m. Santa Teresa Church is located at 794 Calero Avenue in San Jose. Church and parking accommodate handicapable access.
