Grief Consolation During the Holidays – November 19th
Anniversaries and holidays often accentuate the grief and sadness we experience when a loved one dies. At Christmas, we celebrate the coming of God to dwell in our midst in the birth of Jesus Christ, the one who passed through death to new life. We may have experienced the loss of a loved one who has gone through this same passage. But we may find it difficult to know how to handle honoring our deceased loved one while missing them terribly.
Join us in the Parish Hall Thursday, November 19th, 7:00-8:30 p.m. for an evening of scripture, prayer and reflection on finding consolation for our grief during the holidays. All are welcome. RSVP appreciated, to Leah Harris at email@example.com or 408-997-5110.
