Gifts Of Opportunity – Purchase Gifts Through January 8th!
December 3rd-4th *December 10th-11th * December 17th-18th*
Gifts of Opportunity, formerly known as the “Alternative Gifts” program is kicking off this Christmas with a new name and more exciting ways to change lives!
Holy Spirit Church is once again excited to offer our community the opportunity to give the gift of lasting change and empower a child, a family, or even an entire community by giving a Gift of Opportunity this Christmas in your name or in the name of a family member, friend, or co-worker. Your generosity and support will literally save lives and help provide a better future for the poor and neglected families of Nicaragua, some who do not even have the basic human necessities of access to clean water, safe shelter, or proper nutrition.
Hundreds of Holy Spirit community volunteers and missionaries travel to Nicaragua (Latin Americas largest poorest country) each summer, and, working alongside Amigos For Christ staff, represent your gifts personally by delivering pigs, cows and chickens, building clean-air kitchens to eliminate a major source of respiratory issues, as well as building toilets and showers with running water through the Modern Bathroom Project. They have also been hard at work on the construction site, proudly building an exciting, beautiful new school in La Chuscada, that will educate the minds and hearts of hundreds of children and help break the cycle of poverty.
All of these incredible projects made possible by your compassion, generosity and the goodness of your hearts!
Please stop by the Gifts of Opportunity table outside of church after any Mass on the designated days listed above, purchase your life changing gifts, and meet some of our
incredible volunteers that will share their stories, and tell you firsthand how your gift will make a difference this Christmas!

Thank you for being the hands of Christ to those most impoverished in our world.
