Fitness Challenge Update: Week 9
This is the start of our last week of the Holy Spirit Fitness Challenge. The teams are still going strong to the finish.
Members of Veronica Vijil’s “Missionaries” team recently completed the Big Hike – 13.5 Miles in Yosemite. Other members are doing weights, walking the neighborhood and gym workouts.
What are those “Dancing Sharks” doing?
Team Lead Crystal Catalan practices power yoga at least 4 times a week! She has several active high school students on the team.
Abby Harris, of Presentation High School, swims year round on a club team, as well as her high school team, spending at least two hours in the water each day. In addition, she also does about 30 minutes of cross training several days a week. Pat Graaff is also on the Dancing Sharks team and is active in tennis, golf, walking and gardening.
