Holy Spirit Church joins Amigos for Christ for our second anual Immersion Trip to Nicaragua, July 17-24, 2010!  The trip in 2009 was such a wonderful experience that we have committed to continue the tradition!  Please keep those that will travel to Nicaragua in your prayers!  See who's going!  For more information contact Veronica Vijil.

Fundraising for this mission has been joyfully successful!  Thanks to all of those involved in our Fiesta Fundraiser, the volunteers, organizers, financial supporters, and those in attendance! Our missionaries are blessed to have a community that comes out to show their support for them. It was a wonderfully successful evening with delectable food! A delicious authentic Nicaraguan dinner including vigaron, arroz relleno con pollo, and queso para freir was served. It was all polished off with scrumptious tres leches cake and Nicaraguan coffee.

Our parish also gave generously to the June ROPE Collection which will greatly offset costs and allow the missionaries to be even more generous with much-needed items for the residents of Chinendega.

And special thanks to all of our missionaries as they go forth to represent our parish to our brothers and sisters in Nicaragua.
