Cultivating A Growth Mindset: Collaborators in Cura Personalis – November 17th
Cura Personalis is Latin for “caring for the whole person”. On Tuesday, November 17th, at 6:30 p.m. in the Church, we will host a session on how to support the success and well being of the child(ren) in your life. Learn how to help develop students’ courageous hearts, creative minds, and connected success.
The evening will include a special presentation by Liz Guneratne, Lecturer in the School of Education and Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University and former Assistant Superintendent in the Diocese of Oakland, and a panel discussion about a growth mindset in our school and parish across multiple generations.
Join fellow community members to learn more about the evidence base for growth mindset, its relevance in education, and how families can partner with the school and parish community to leverage the growth mindset and prepare our children for the challenges and blessings in the days ahead.
Liz will teach, inspire, share practical tips, and open up a dialogue regarding the cultivation of a growth mindset and its potential to strengthen our students’ hearts, minds, and community.
