Couples Connection – January 8th
Married Couples Need Community
It is tempting in today’s world to neglect our friends and social support networks. A hard day at work and managing a household, leave us little free time. However, most marriage experts agree that an enriching marriage includes the development of meaningful relationships with other couples who are moving in a positive direction.
That is what Couples Connection is all about. A monthly gathering with food, fun and discussion where all couples can develop community connections and support. Community is Christianity in action. “It’s one body and one Spirit” – Ephesians 4:4.
“Witnessing couples who have been through difficult times, yet experience such Godly love is inspiring to me and my marriage,” said a Couples Connection participant. “Forever is a long time and we cannot do it alone.”
The Couples Connection invites you to share in this monthly experience and surround your marriage with meaningful relationships with other couples. Our next gathering is on Friday, January 8th, from 7:00-9:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Bring an appetizer to share. We will be discussing the Synergy of Marriage and will engage in fun problem solving exercises to promote togetherness!
Save the date for the Couples Connection 1st Annual Sweetheart Dance on Friday, February 12th, from 7:00-10:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall. All couples are welcome!
