Becoming Catholic

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

This is a process that provides adult inquirers the opportunity to learn about becoming a Catholic, through faith sharing, discussion and experiencing the rites. It is a gradual process that takes place within the community of the faithful and culminates with the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist), at the Easter Vigil.

Christian Initiation of Children and Youth

This is a process designed to prepare older children (8 yr. +) and youth and their families for the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist). It involves faith sharing, discussion and experiencing the rites. The children and youth will attend regular Catechetical classes as well.
