2018 Pilgrimage to Ireland
“May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and until we meet again. May the Lord hold you in the palm of his hand.” – Irish Blessing
With your blessing, based on our survey results, we will be planning our next pilgrimage to Ireland. Our tentative itinerary includes Dublin with its many sites: Trinity College, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Christ Church and the Shrine of St. Valentine, followed by Knock, Ballintubber Abbey and Croagh Patrick. Our trip tentatively includes Kylemore Abbey, the Cliffs of Moher, Killarney, the Dingle Peninsula and Ring of Kerry. Blarney Castle, Cobh, Cork and Waterford are potential stops as well with a return to Dublin by way of Glendalough and the possibility of Mass in Bray, Father Brendan’s home town.
Each day will include Mass and an opportunity to deepen our faith. Our travel dates and cost are not set at this time but the trip will likely be late April through early May.
We are asking that you let us know if you have an interest in joining this pilgrimage. We are not asking or taking a firm commitment at this time but it will help our planning to know how many are interested. Click here and please take the time to let us know you are interested by signing up on our interest for.
Alternatively, you can contact Katie Metzger at 408-997-5115 or email@example.com to let us know you are interested. Please remember this is not a commitment to be included in the pilgrimage but rather a sign up to assist with our planning. We will be asking for a commitment as soon as we can share a definite itinerary with cost.
